Lauren graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Hofstra University in 2011. While at Hofstra, Lauren played four years of division one tennis for the Pride. She currently holds the school record for all-time leader in singles match victories.
Lauren graduated from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2014. Soon after, she began her legal career advocating for the rights of the defenseless as an Attorney at the Guardian Ad Litem Office in West Palm Beach. After seven years as a GAL Attorney, Lauren joined several of her mentors at the Legal Aid Society’s of Palm Beach County’s Juvenile Advocacy Project. As an Attorney with the Juvenile Advocacy Project, Lauren protected and advocated for the legal rights of children in dependency and delinquency court for two years.
Currently, Lauren serves as the Law Firm Liaison and Community Engagement Attorney with the Pro Bono Department at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. There, she manages Legal Aid’s Campaign for Equal Justice by encouraging attorneys to take pro bono cases while providing support for attorneys during their pro bono case. Lauren’s mission is to have every attorney in Palm Beach County participate in the Campaign in some capacity to provide equal access to justice for the members of our community who lack the financial resources to hire an attorney.
Although Lauren no longer litigates court cases, she continues to be a fierce advocate for children experiencing foster care and children in the juvenile court system. In her free time, Lauren is an avid traveler, a permanently disappointed Atlanta sports fan, and loves participating in activities outdoors!
