Become a Foster Parent

Change a Life

At FFC, our goal is to inform everyone about the need for foster families in Palm Beach County. Too often, children are first removed from their biological families, and then from the communities that they are familiar with, including their neighborhood, school, and places of worship. By spreading the word about our need for foster families throughout the county, we are able to potentially keep more Palm Beach County kids in Palm Beach County. This also makes it possible for the child to visit with their parents in-person, while the parents work on their case plans to regain custody of their child. All of these details are vital in a child’s continued development while experiencing what is likely the most abnormal time of their life.

Being a foster parent means giving a child the stability and love they deserve, even if it’s for just a short season in their life. As Abraham Lincoln said, “the best way to predict the future is to create it” and for many children in foster care, that future starts with the love and care of the family whose home they join.

We understand that there are some common misconceptions about becoming a foster parent, but we are here to provide answers to any questions. Fill out the form below to get in contact with our Foster Navigator.
